[VERIFIED] 7 Countries with the highest currency value

by Yẹmí Noble 7th October 2021
written by Yẹmí Noble

We all spend money on daily basis, but have you ever wondered which of the world’s currency is the strongest? A currency’s strength is usually determined either by the rate of international market demand or by a fixed measure determined by the central bank of its country or sometimes a combination of both.

180 currencies are officially recognized by the United Nations as legal tender from all around the world, thus to establish a basis of comparison of all of them to find which ones hold the most value, we use the United States of America’s dollar as the fixed base currency like most financial reports in the world. Therefore, the strongest currency is defined as the one that will give the smallest unit of equivalence in that currency.

What is the highest currency in the world? Here are the top seven currency in the world, as of the year 2021.

1. Kuwaiti Dinar

Currency code – KWD

Kuwaiti Dinar rate: 1 KWD = 3.32 USD (Kuwaiti Dinar to US Dollar)

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti Dinar

Oil-rich Middle Eastern country has the world’s most powerful currency. The Kuwaiti Dinar is the highest-valued currency in the world, going for approximately at $3.32 per Dinar. Kuwait’s relatively stable economy and substantial oil exports which produces almost 95% of the country’s revenue is what accounts for the high value of its currency

Initially, the Kuwaiti Dinar was equivalent to one Pound Sterling when it was first introduced in 1960 after the country gained its independence from the United Kingdom. However, since 2003, the currency has been pegged to the US Dollar, with the government deciding also to peg the Kuwaiti Dinar to the weighted currency basket in 2007

According to some estimates, Kuwait has about 9% of the global oil reserves within its territory. Mining the petroleum is reputed to be among the easiest and cheapest in the oil-rich region. These, coupled with the fact that Kuwait is a tax-free country with a very low unemployment rate, makes the country rank 8th amongst countries with the highest GDP per capita.

2. Bahraini Dinar

Currency code – BHD

Bahraini Dinar rate: 1 BHD = 2.66 USD (Bahraini Dinar to US Dollar)

Bahrain Currency

Bahraini Dinar

Another country located in the Arabian Gulf area, Bahrain has the world’s second strongest currency. The Bahraini Dinar or BHD is the currency of Bahrain.

The country’s economy is also heavily dependent on oil exports. Though it has small stores of crude oil itself, the Kingdom of Bahrain has built its economy on processing of petroleum from neighbouring countries, but has recently diversified into financial and commercial services, communications consulting and tourism.

This increased focus on diversification and the strength of the currency has led to Bahrain becoming a magnet to expatriate workers, especially Indians who are the largest expat group in Bahrain.

3. Omani Rial

Currency code – OMR

Omani Rial rate: 1 OMR = 2.60 USD (Omani Rial to US Dollar)

Oman Currency

Omani Rial currency note

The third-highest currency in the world is the Omani Rial. This currency is the official currency of the Sultanate of Oman, an Arabic country located in the Arabian Peninsula. A former maritime empire, Oman is the oldest continuously independent country in the region.

Crude oil is a mainstay of the Omani economy, accounting for about 60% of government revenue and 40% of its gross domestic product (GDP). The government however has been working on a plan since 1996 for a post-oil world, investing significantly in diversifying the economy.

As a result, government has been developing the country’s natural gas resources to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) and other diverse number of industries including wide-range exportation of minerals, among which are limestone, natural gas, asbestos, and copper. Successive five-year government plans have also opened up the country’s infrastructure, mining, and manufacturing through private-sector led developments and joint ventures with government.

4. Jordanian Dinar

Currency code – JOD

Jordanian Dinar rate: 1 JOD = 1.41 USD (Jordanian Dinar to US Dollar)

Jordanian Currency

Jordanian Dinar

A young country occupying an ancient land, the Kingdom of Jordan introduced its currency, the Jordanian Dinar ($1.41) in 1949 after its independence in 1946. It replaced Palestine Pound, which was being used as legal tender.

Despite having limited natural resources and geographic location prone to political instability of the Middle East, Jordan’s economy has gradually stabilized after the economic crisis of the mid-1990s. Jordan’s economy is based on private enterprise, though government spending still account for approximately 25% of the gross domestic product (GDP). Economic reforms and external debts forgiveness from World Bank has helped jumpstart the economy, contributing to the strength of the Jordanian Dinar.

5. British Pound Sterling

Currency code – GBP

British Pound Sterling rate: 1 GBP = 1.38 USD (British Pound Sterling to US Dollar)

British Currency

British Pound Sterling

The pound sterling is often thought by many to be the strongest currency in the world however it is the 5th most valuable currency in the world. Though not the strongest, the British Pound Sterling is oldest currency still in use.

British Pound Sterling accounts for around 12.8% of daily trades, making it on the 4th most traded currency globally in the foreign exchange market.

The currency exchange of USD and GBP is commonly known as ‘cable’ in the forex market  and many finance houses make decisions based on whether ‘cable’ will rise or fall. Despite the fall out of Brexit and COVID-19, the British economy remain strong, though how it weathers these twin troubles will determine a lot in the future, including strength of the pound sterling

7. Cayman Islands Dollar

Currency code – KYD

Cayman Islands Dollar rate: 1 KYD = 1.22 USD (Cayman Islands Dollar to US Dollar)

Cayman Islands Currency

Cayman Islands Dollar

The Jamaican Dollar was the legal tender of the Cayman Islands until 1972 when the Cayman Islands Dollar was put in as the official currency, and it is now the sixth strongest currency in the world.

The tiny Caribbean nation, which is a British Overseas Territory, has tourism and financial services as its main economic mainstay, accounting for up to 60% of its gross domestic product (GDP). The islands’ GDP per capita is the 10th highest in the world, and it pegs its currency to US$1.22 to 1 KYD

7. European Euro

Currency code – EUR

European Euro rate: 1 EUR = 1.18 USD (European Euro to US Dollar).

Euro currency

Euro

The second-most traded currency in the world after United States dollars, the Euro has strengthened over the years, leading to about 25 countries pegged their currencies to Euro at a fixed rate.

One of the most powerful world currencies, its value is partially explained by the fact that it is the official currency for 19 European countries, including strong economic nations like France and Germany.  The Euro is used by 342 million citizens of the European Union and is the second reserve currency of the world, accounting for about 25% of all world savings (62.3% is in USD).

How to become a civil engineer in Nigeria

by Abbey 7th October 2021
written by Abbey

What are civil engineering and its importance

Civil engineering (See detailed civil engineering salaries in Nigeria) is an engineering profession that involves the design, construction, and maintenance of the environment, and public infrastructure projects like bridges, roads, canals, pipelines, airports terminals, sewerage systems, dams, and the structural components of buildings.

Civil engineering is divided into several disciplines. It is one of the oldest engineering professions after military engineering. Engineering was previously a military profession before it eventually became a mainstream profession. Civil engineering knowledge can be applied from applied in the construction of public infrastructure and environmental design.

Civil engineering is built upon the knowledge of Physics and Mathematics. Civil engineers must have a good knowledge of material science, structures, soil, geography, mechanics, geology, and others.

In ancient times designs were mostly carried by artisans, carpenters, and stonemasons. There was a need for the organization of the built environment professions. All this gave birth to the various organized professions we have in the built environment today.

Archimedes was of the earliest scientist who used the mathematical approach in solving Infrastructure problems. The Archimedes principle which was written in the 3 rd, century underpins a strategic advance of Math and Science in solving engineering problems.

Another scientific work that greatly increased the application of scientific approach in civil engineering is the work of a 7th century Indian Mathematician, Brahmagupta who used Arithmetic based on Hindu-Arabic numerals to compute a formula for calculating Excavation volume.

Civil engineering requirements in high school (SSCE and JAMB requirement)

To study Civil Engineering, you must possess the following requirements;

  • At least 5 credits pass in subjects as, English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and another science subject.
  • You must choose the right subject combination in JAMB i.e. Math, English, Physics, and Chemistry
  • Apply to a COREN recognized schools
  • Score at least 250 in JAMB
  • Score at least 65% in your POSTUME

Popular schools where Civil Engineering is offered include:

  1. University of Lagos
  2. Federal University of Technology, Minna
  3. University of Nigeria, Nsukka
  4. Federal University of Technology, Akure
  5. University of Ibadan
  6. Lagos State University
  7. Ahmadu Bello University Zaria
  8. Covenant University Ota
  9. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi
  10. The University of Jos.
  11. Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.

How long does it take to become a civil engineer?

The first university to start a program in civil engineering in Nigeria is University College Ibadan (now known as the University of Ibadan) which was founded by the colonial masters. The University of Ibadan is also the first university to be established in Nigeria. Late Herbert Macaulay is the first Nigerian to become a Civil Engineer.

The Nigerian Institute of Civil Engineers (NICE) a division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) was established in 1984 as a platform for professional civil engineers to communicate on issues of concern to their profession.

To become a Civil Engineer in Nigeria, the minimum academic qualification is typically a University degree from a COREN-approved university.

Just as other Engineering disciplines, Civil Engineers spend up to 4 – 6 years before they are inducted as professional civil engineers. At the end of their academic sojourn, they are awarded either a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of technology.

If you desire to study physics, make sure you have a good background in Physics, Mathematics, and design. Civil engineers spend most of their time in school doing practicals in laboratories and workshops.

Bachelor of Engineering or technology provides the students with basic knowledge of the profession, and with that, they can successfully practice as professionals. However, many Universities provide advanced courses (MSC and PGD) where students can specialize in a specific field of Civil Engineering.

How to be a good civil engineering student? Skills required

Important Qualities for Civil Engineers

Good sense of decision making: Their many professionals involved in a construction project. A civil engineer who is very poor at making decisions will find himself confused and lost. Civil engineers are often looked upon by Urban and Regional Planners and Architects in determining the feasibility of project plans.

Leadership skills: The construction team in most projects are led by civil engineers. A civil engineer who is very good in all aspects of the profession but lacks leadership skills will find it very difficult to succeed in this profession. Civil engineers lead other professionals like surveyors, planners, technologists, technicians, construction managers to implement their plans. Therefore, successful civil engineers (See how to become a successful electrical engineer in Nigeria) are good leaders.

Problem-solving skills: Civil Engineers often find themselves at the topmost part of the decision-making ladder, therefore, they must be able to confront the challenges that may arise at every phase of the project.

From planning, to design, and actual construction, the problem-solving skill of civil engineers is required to make the project easier. Civil engineers must be able to develop construction measures that are safe, cost-effective, and efficient.

Speaking skills: Communication skills is an essential skill that is required from all professionals. Speaking is a form of communication, and civil engineers will find themselves making proposals and presentations to their clients, project host communities, and financers. They must be able to translate engineering concepts and designs into a language that laymen will understand.

Mathematical skills. Civil engineers eat and drink in math. If you’re poor in math, am sorry civil engineering is not for you. You will meet calculus, trigonometry, and other advanced mathematical concepts.

Writing skills: Apart from speaking, writing is also a form of communication. Civil engineers must be able to write clear and simple reports, tenders, and proposals, in a way that those without a technical background will understand. They must be able to communicate the project’s details to co-professionals such as Architects, Landscape Architects, and Urban and Regional Planners.

Civil engineering subject and courses

Structural engineering

Structural engineering is a branch of civil engineering that deals with the design of structural components of infrastructures. It involves the structural analysis of public infrastructures like Railways, Airports, seaports, flyovers, bridges, dams, canals, and other infrastructure projects.

Structural engineers analyzed buildings and infrastructure projects by performing analysis on the sources of loads and stress which act upon a building and identifying measures that will be incorporated in both the design and construction of the building in other to accommodate those forces, loads, and stress. Structural engineers must design buildings that are safe and serviceable. Some structural engineers go on to specialize in wind engineering and earthquake engineering.

Design considerations for structures must consider the ability of the building or structure to withstand static loads and stress like furniture and fittings or changing loads such as wind, vehicle, or temporary loads. Structural engineers must also consider the sustainability, cost, safety, and feasibility of their designs.

Construction engineering

Construction engineering entails all the processes of design and construction including material assemblage, project planning, finance mobilization, and actual construction. Construction engineers work (Check out 7 low-key firms where electrical engineers can work) in the construction industries drafting contracts, managing construction projects, and monitoring project material supplies.

Geotechnical engineering

Geotechnical engineering studies rocks and soil. Before any serious construction work is carried out, Geotechnical engineers are involved in other to determine the soil carrying capacity. Geotechnical engineers must possess basic knowledge of soil science, material science, mechanics, and other fields such as hydraulics and geology.

Fluid mechanics

This is a branch of physics that entails the study of gases, liquids, and other fluids. It is a combination of several disciplines such as oceanography, biomedical and chemical engineering, and material engineering.

Transportation engineering

Transportation infra is one of the fundamental drivers of development. The transport system is used in moving people, goods, animals, and services. Transport engineers are involved in designing qualitative transport infrastructures like roads, bridges, pipelines, terminals, and ports. Transport engineers are involved in both the design and maintenance of transport infrastructure.

Theories such as the queuing theory, and techniques like pavement engineering, Intelligent Transport systems are involved in managing public transport infrastructures.

Environmental Engineering

Transport engineering is another name for sanitary engineering. Environmental engineers work alongside planners in making sure that the built environment is safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing.

Environmental engineers provide waste management solutions as well as work on public health.

It involves collection and treatment of home and industrial wastes, treatment of chemicals, water purification and supply, air pollution control, and remediation of contaminated grounds. In some countries, environmental engineering is referred to as public health engineering.

Environmental engineers work on issues of public interest like climate change, pollution reduction, water treatment, and other important issues. They also provide information about the environmental consequences of environmental development projects by carrying out Environmental Impacts Assessments (EIA) Studies.

How to date a girl [As told by an Alpha]

by Yẹmí Noble 7th October 2021
written by Yẹmí Noble

Every girl is different. Thus there is no one key to dating girls. What impresses one girl can be what will make another girl never want to speak to you again.

However, there are certain rules that holds true when you are dating a girl, no matter her particular preferences. These rules will help you navigate the potholes that you may encounter, such that even if the lady doesn’t like something, she will give you another chance to make dating her a success.

Trusted universal rules of dating a girl

  1. You must project confidence, as this is one of the most attractive traits. Just focus in your mind on something that you are very good at and remember that everyone has things they are bad at. This will build your confidence
  2. Be genuine even as you are confident. This is because arrogance and cockiness is a big turn off. Confidence that gets admiration of others is the one combined with grace and humility. Confidence also means you do not need to brag.
  3. As much as you can, always present yourself well in neat and fashionable clothes. Use deodorants, and pay attention to your nails and shoes. Do not forget number 2
  4. Compliment her generously, but do not focus on her external appearance. When you compliment her looks, ensure you are complimenting her taste in picking out her style, e.g. colour of her dress, smell of her fragrance etc.
  5. Do not make sexual comments about her appearance at the beginning. You need to gauge her level of tolerance in such before you delve fully into it
  6. Whenever you are talking to her, say things you actually mean. Do not pretend to listen to her but pay attention. This will enable you understand her better
  7. Ask a lot of questions and follow up with comments that let her know you’re listening and care about what she’s saying.
  8. Do not play hard to get. Do not change the amount of energy you are giving her or retuning. Try and be consistent in your communication.
  9. Yes, consistency is important but do not become a boring predictable person. You should give her some romantic surprises once in a while.
  10. You need to introduce her to your friends. This will signal to her that she is important to you.

How to date a girl if you met her online

Social media apps

Social media

Now that dating apps and websites have become the norm, knowing how to talk to women online is an important skill since you are mostly limited to texts. You’re missing a lot of other social cues we tend to rely on when we meet new people like facial expressions, tone and body language.

However, you can still use many of the same fundamentals in real life online when dating, like:

  1. When dating a girl you met online, the aim is to be more engaging and show your personality.
  2. Try getting to know each other quickly and build enough comfort to set up the first physical date.
  3. Confidence is key confidence is a trait that every single person finds attractive. If you can come across as a calm, confident guy you’re already helping your chances. One great thing about text conversation is you have time to think about your responses.
  4. Compliments are okay as long as you’re creative. If you’re going to use compliments in your online conversations, make them genuine and creative. “You have beautiful eyes” as your second message it’s a little weird and off-putting.
  5. Be honest about your intentions. Authenticity is important to online dating and text conversations. It’s okay to be sexual, just don’t be a creep.

How to date a girl if you are the shy type

For shy individuals most of the time, the chances that they will not ask somebody out is higher than being rejected. Fortunately, there are various things you can do to help build the confidence needed to pull the trigger on asking a lady out and afterward getting her to turn into your better half.

  1. Work on looking good. Unless you think you look good in public, you cannot be confident. Spend some time in the gym and overhaul your wardrobe if there is need to.
  2. Humour works very well in breaking the ice so if you are not normally funny, try to develop a slight sense of humour that you can sneak in during uneasy times.
  3. Make platonic friends with girls. This will let you practise conversations with girls without the pressure that romance sometimes bring into chats. It will also help you understand how girls think
  4. With your new-found social circle, you will find several available women that you are attracted to. Ensure you verbally ask them out. If they reject you, be polite about it and continue relating to them as friends. You can also try online dating services to meet women.
  5. Don’t wait for the perfect girl. Once you feel you have a lot of female friends, then you are ready to make a move on the girl you are attracted to. Once she says yes, your knowledge from your female friends (and there relationships) will guide you.

How to date a girl via WhatsApp alone

Congratulations! You have got her to agree to chatting with you via WhatsApp and even taken it a step further. Now is the time to ensure that the dating goes smoothly and even get to a much higher level.

Here is how you can keep her engaged and retain her interests in you

  1. Be Unique. Set yourself apart from the others with whom she may be conversing. This can be achieved if you are genuine with her in your conversations
  2. Ensure that your energy level is consistent. Do not change the way and manner in which you send or respond to her messages.
  3. Ask uncommon questions. These questions will cause her to think about herself and what she wants. These will show you off as someone interested in her. ‘What is the best advice you’ve gotten from your parent?”, “What your favourite part of your job?” and “What is your most important goal you want this year?” are some examples of such questions.
  4. Respect who and what they are, and change accordingly. Allowing these differences to ruin your beautiful time together is not a good idea.
  5. Come on. It’s okay to use emojis and memes. Make extensive use of this to make her laugh. Because of that, she will love you even more.

How do you date a girl if she already has a boyfriend

Every romantic aspiration comes with possible rejection or embarrassment. This is more of a possibility if the woman has a boyfriend. Thus it is important to treat the situation delicately.

Here is what to do when the lady you want has a boyfriend

  1. Assess the situation and decide if the feelings you have are enough to make a play for her. You need to ask yourself if the feeling will pass away with time or it will continue no matter what
  2. If no, abort the mission. If yes, then you have to start off by being her friend. Make her feel at ease with you. This stage will also makes it easier for you to do no 1 above.
  3. Flirt with her while giving her full attention when you are together. Treat her with respect and attention so she always look forward to hanging out with you.
  4. Drop hints that you do not mind being with her. This can be easily done whenever you pay her compliments, for example “Thanks for today. I really love spending time with you. Would love to do more of it”. You can also achieve this with appropriate physical touches when you are together.
  5. If you do step 3 and 4 well, she will be the one who will make the next move. If she comes to you for advice, be firm and confident in letting her know what you want but that you trust her judgement. That confidence in yourself will be the clincher that will make her choose you.

How to date a girl for the first time

Dating can be somewhat scary, no matter your experience or who you are. There is nothing off about prepping yourself before diving in. Here is what you need to bear in mind as you prepare to date a girl for the first time:

  1. Start your conversations with something interesting and it’ll really help you set the right tone for the rest of your conversation. When in doubt or nervous, use humour to lighten the mood. Say or do something funny or interesting but keep it respectful.
  2. Ladies like men who are confident. Even if you are not a naturally confident person, you can learn to project that image while you work on the real thing. For example, rather than vaguely asking if she’d like to do something, sometime make a suggestion like “we should head to that bar next Friday, I hear that sangria is amazing”. That’s so much better than “if you’re free sometime and wanted to hang out maybe we can go do something”.
  3. Focusing on common interests help you to create build trust and comfort.
  4. Be honest to her as there’s a level of trust that has to be established. The best way to do this is to be open with her and take a genuine interest in who she is. If you can both nail these, trust and comfort will naturally start to build since you’re being genuine showing her who you are and actually caring about what she’s into.
  5. Remember she’s actually a real person and thus is probably as nervous as you are. Make her feel more at ease by regularly complimenting her.

Other dating related concerns you might have

How do you make a girl fall in love with you?

To make a girl fall in love with you, you have to be a man of good self-esteem, confidence and goals. If you can make her laugh, prioritize and pay attention to her, really listening to her instead of just “hearing” her, and treat her well with respect, she will love you in no time

What do you say to a girl on a date?

Discussing the various television series and must-see films you’re watching, or your most loved books can is a good, safe topic of discussion. This will help your establish common interests and build rapport and trust.

How do I tell a girl to be my girlfriend?

Ask her out on a date and if this goes well, ask her for another. After three or more date filled with honest discussions and you are sure she’s into you, then ask her if she would like to be your girlfriend as this will make you happy. Do this at an appropriate time and she will likely say yes.

How impress a girl on a date?

Be confident, clean and don’t try too hard to impress. Trust in what your identity is and this will bring similar individuals around you. Listen and be attentive to her. Ask her questions about herself. Do about 50% of the talking =. Don’t forget, she’s also trying to impress you!

How can I impress a girl I like?

Everyone, including you, has at least one thing that is very impressive about them. Find yours, figure a low-key way to show this (these) off without bragging and engage her in conversation topics about her likes and she would be impressed.

How do I impress a girl for the first time I meet her?

Trying to use some cunning pickup line or clever comment will most likely make you sound like you are an average guy, and may leave you caught off guard for whatever her reply is. It’s better to use the circumstances happening then in a humorous way to get her attention and keep it by asking her open-ended questions about herself.

Can you kiss on the first date?

Kissing on a first date is absolutely your choice and the other person. As no two first dates are the same, it’s dependent upon you to conclude if you’d prefer to kiss this individual. If enough trust and comfort has been established in honest conversations, the kiss will happen spontaneously.

How can I impress a girl by chatting?

You don’t impress a girl by bragging, rather by allowing her to talk about what interests her and telling your own experiences with those things that interest her. So let her speak and ask a lot of open-ended questions like “What book or movie has fascinated you recently?” and “What superpower will you ask God for if he asks you to pick one?”

How can I attract a unknown girl?

Women love direct, confident and funny men. Walk up to her or chat her up. Be pleasant and confident with a dash of decency. Don’t be pushy as the process of falling (not pushing!) in love is fast for some and slow for others. Remember that all your friends were also unknown at a time.

How do u make a girl miss u?

You can make a girl miss you by making sure you are on her mind throughout the day. This you can do by checking up on her when you are apart, giving her something she will use regularly, treating her well when you are together and asking her questions about her passions.

How can I be attractive?

Being attractive is about physical appearance and how one carries oneself. Working on these separately and collectively will make one more attractive physically (by grooming yourself well and dressing neatly) and having the right mindset (by being real, talking with purpose, listening more, walking with your head up and looking people in the eye).

What should be the first message to a unknown girl?

You should never ask for a phone number the first time you are chatting with a girl. The first message should be a very short, yet humorous introduction of yourself, for example “Hi, my name is Ben. No, not Ben Affleck the actor nor Spiderman’s uncle. Though I won’t mind being either of them”

[GUARANTEED] How to toast a girl online and win her over

by Yẹmí Noble 7th October 2021
written by Yẹmí Noble

Before internet became very popular, you have to physically woo and court a girl to go out with you. However, since smartphones and social media became widely adopted, it is now more common to meet a girl you like online and as her out.

To “toast” a girl is Nigeria slang for wooing her, and the fact that the internet is global means that its now easier than ever for Nigerians to do all kinds of things which was limited to the country before on a global scale. Including toasting girls from all parts of Nigeria and the world.

Since the internet is not the way our fathers and grandfathers met their women, we must then adapt some of what works for them into the new age. The platform doesn’t matter, as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram or any other social media is just a medium to talk to another person. You just need to modify what our forefather’s used

Here is how you can create chemistry with girls you meet online, toast them and take the relationship to the next level

Step by step guide to toasting a girl online in Nigeria

  1. Patience: The key that getting the woman of your dream is still patience, as it was in the days past. You do not want to appear needy or too thirsty.
  2. Do your homework: You probably have done this already, which is why you like her and want to get to know her more. But you’ve probably done this on a subconscious level. Now is the time to pay attention to her so you can know the basics about her like her favourite colour, songs and movies. These will allow you identify your common interests.
  3. Talk a lot about common interests: After your homework, start engaging her posts on interests that you both share. This could be anything, from as simple as Wizkid vs Davido or as serious as cryptography.
  4. Do not make her your primary work: DO NOT stay on her timeline all the time to respond to her posts. Go about your day normally and set a time when you check her posts and respond. One day, when she posts something she’s passionate about, ask that you share your thoughts about the issue directly instead of publicly. She will give you permission to message her directly, either on the app or via other services like WhatsApp and Telegram.
  5. Send her things that you know she will like: Now that you have established rapport, hone it by sending her things you find interesting that you know will excite her. A new song, movie, news, meme, or food. Make her smile, laugh, curious, and you can even tease her a bit.
  6. Ask for her advice on something personal: After a while, start asking her for advice on things. It should start with small things like what gift to get a friend for their birthday but it should move on to more serious things like whether you should study a particular course or quit your job.
  7. Let her know you value her advice: Every human being wants to know they matter. Let her know that you rely on her advice. However, don’t take everything she says totally unless it makes 100% sense to you. So if she says you should get a pink tie for a friend, you can buy a blue one if that is his favourite colour. Just let her know why you are modifying her input.
  8. Compliment her (only her taste): Once or twice a week, compliment her taste. This may be in music, clothing or movies. Something light and fun. This will build her wanting to chat with you daily. Even if you compliment her beauty, let it reflect that you are more impressed by her taste than the innate beauty e.g. “The lipstick colour really brings out your beautiful eyes”.

  9. Invite her to an event: This is where you meet her for the first time. It may be a birthday bash or wedding ceremony (the best!) of a friend or family. This will allow you physically establish rapport before taking the final step. This may be a challenge if you are far apart, but you can get really creative in finding virtual substitute for this via Zoom, Meet or other platforms for hosting events online.
  10. Ask her out: At this point, you can formally ask her out, though if you play step 1 to 9 right, you may not need to as you would already be close and have good rapport.

You can do step 2 to step 8 simultaneously and repeatedly. This will help you establish rapport enough for step 9, where you can then ask her out if you so desire. If distance is an issue, you can still do step 9 and 10 online, though it is much better to do this in person.

No matter what happens, even if you forget everything, always remember the number one rule: Patience.

All your toasting questions answered

What questions make a girl blush?

How do u make a girl miss u?

Do not talk about yourself unless she asks. Rather, pay attention to her while making her laugh when she’s chatting with you. Be a little mysterious by not acting desperate via trying to keep track of her all the time on the phone.

Should you text a girl everyday?

Yes if she is your girlfriend or lover. No, if you haven’t asked her out yet or she hasn’t said yes. This is because love sometimes die from malnourishment but often times die from constipation.

When should you stop texting a girl?

You should stop texting a girl when she reads your message and doesn’t respond till much later or she constantly replies you with one-word responses. If she hardly start the conversation with you, you should move on as soon as possible.

How do you tell if a girl misses you?

She will call you or text you out of the blue and ask after your general wellbeing if she misses you. She will want to know what seems to be minute details about how your day is going.

Why would a girl miss you?

There are many reasons why a girl can miss you, including being bored if you make her smile, being curious as to what you are up to or being lonely if you make her laugh.

How do you make her miss you after fight?

First you apologize sincerely about your part in the fight. Repeat her points to her in different words to show that you understand her perspectives. Then give her space so she can see her own role in the fight and come apologize

How do you know if she has moved on?

Your girlfriend has moved on if she is no longer willing to talk to you, flirt with you or hang out. If she has a new appearance, repeatedly tells you to move in or she has a new boyfriend, she has definitely moved away from you.

How can you tell if a girl isn’t over her ex?

A girl is not over her ex if she constantly mentions him in normal conversations, compares other guys to him, checks his social media accounts regularly and keeps in touch with many of his friends and family members.

How long does it take a girl to miss?

It depends on the girl and the manner of the separation. If the separation is not due to both parties, for example due to work travel, it may be as early as a day. However if the separation was acrimonious, it may take a much longer time before the girl starts missing the guy.

How do you know if your ex still loves you?

When an ex behaves hot and insensitive simultaneously towards you, she is having a combat between her heart and her head. She tries to make you feel jealous with positive updates in her lifestyles that you no longer ask for. She may additionally also hit you up when she is under the influence of alcohol to make some confessions.
