Joyce Oyedepo last child of the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo. The Oral Roberts University, Tulsa Oklahoma graduate has three elder siblings, David, Isaac and Love. Much like her parents, she is an author of Christian books.

Joyce (sometimes stylized as ‘Joys’) Priscilla Oyedepo is the second daughter and last child of one of the leaders of the charismatic movement in Nigeria, founder and general overseer of the Living Faith Church (popularly known as Winners Chapel), Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo and his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Faith Abiola Oyedepo.

After attending Faith Academy, a school owned by her parents. With few of her friends while in secondary school, she started a gospel music group that performed at various gospel concerts. She was also in the church choir at her parent’s church before leaving for the United States of America for her university studies at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She is a Christian author who has written several Christian books released internationally, including “Walking with God”, “The Real You” and “Growing in Faith”.

She is the founder and team lead of Women of the God Kind, a non-for-profit group she started on October 18, 2015. Women of the God Kind aims to raise women to develop a deeper intimacy with Jesus through regular workshops, bible studies, online resources, and free women-only yearly conventions with no affiliations to her father’s ministry. She also regularly minister at conventions and women conferences by other ministries outside Winners Chapel.

Joys Oyedepo got married to Abimbola Abodunrin on Saturday, August 22, 2002 at a church service held at at the Covenant University Chapel, Ota, Ogun State.

Joyce shares the same birthday, September 27, with her father, Bishop Oyedepo. Bishop Oyedepo is one of the richest pastors in the world (See the list).

A native of Omu-Aran in Kwara State, Nigeria, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo was born on the 27th of September, 1954. He is the founder and general overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (popularly called Winners’ Chapel), a Christian author with over 60 inspirational and motivational books and the also the Chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark Universities in Nigeria. He is also reputed to be an outspoken religious leader and the richest pastor in the Africa with a net worth of over $150 million.

Joyce shares a striking resemblance with her mother, Faith Oyedepo. Since getting married to David Oyedepo in 1982, a year after he started Winners Chapel and has since worked in the ministry, helping to build and nurture it while also taking time to write several books in the areas of women empowerment, youth, family and marital success. She is a Senior Pastor in Winners Chapel and Vice President (Education) of Living Faith Church Worldwide.

Joyce has two elder brothers and an elder sister. Her eldest brother is David Oyedepo (Jnr), who is currently a pastor at Faith Tabernacle, the headquarters of Winners Chapel in Otta after being ordained a pastor by the renowned America preacher, Kenneth Copeland in May 2007.

Her other elder brother, Isaac was also ordained as a pastor by Kenneth Copeland in May 2007 and is the pastor in charge of Living Faith Church, Abuja after serving as resident pastor at Winners Chapel International, South Africa.

Love Jesutomi Oyedepo-Ogah, her only sister heads the Covenant University Consultancy Services. Joyce seems to share a special bond with her only elder sister, Love Jesutomi Oyedepo-Ogah as evident in the way they celebrate themselves on social media, including identifying as each other best friends.

Perhaps as a continuation of the shared birthday with her father, Joyce got married to her husband on the 38th wedding anniversary of her parents. The wedding was strictly by invitation with many dignitaries and celebrities present to witness the union
