The Niger Delta Development Commission is a federal government parastatal that was created in the year 2000 by the then President of Nigeria Olusegun Obansajo, whose sole responsibility is to build and develop the oil-rich Niger Delta region of the country. NDDC postgraduate scholarship 2019
The primary role of the NDDC Foreign Post-Graduate Scholarship Scheme is to train Niger Deltas with applicable skills and training for active participation in the nearby substance program of the present organization, just as they compete all-around in different expert fields. - Applicants for the NDDC postgraduate scholarship must have gained admission for either a Master’s Degree program or Ph.D. program in a foreign university.
- Students that are already enrolled in a university overseas are not eligible to apply.

The NDDC scholarship test cut off mark is 25 points. Applicants that scored 25 points and above will be shortlisted for the next phase of the scholarship, the oral interview. After the interview, successful candidates will then be awarded the scholarship.

NDDC skill acquisition program
The Niger Delta Development Commission Skills Acquisition Training Program is set up to upgrade the Micro Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSME) with its key target to reinforce the Niger Delta States’ economies and help the young people become work makers rather than work searchers.
The NDDC Skill Acquisition Training Program was started through the Niger Delta Regional Master Plan (NDRDMP) in area 5.7.3 and 5.7.4 after the achievement of the past projects. The NDRDMP was set to address strategies for financial improvement in rural and urban regions of the area.
