Brief history of Uniuyo
The University of Uyo is a new generation university. It was formerly known as the university of cross river (UNICROSS). However, it was licensed to become a federal university on the 1st of October, 1991 by the federal government of Nigeria. The University inherited the students, staffs and academic programmes of the University of cross river. Notably, the university of cross river has been in full operation since 1983, so it was only after 8years, it became the prestigious Uniuyo.
The university of uyo commenced academic activities during the 1991/92 academic session. Currently, it has 12 faculties, a postgraduate school and a center for continuing education. The Vice-Chancellor is Professor Enefiok Essien. In 2015 the Emir of Hadejia, Adamu Maje was appointed chancellor. The university runs a multiple campus scheme. With a main campus, town campus, Annex campus, College of health campus and the Ime Umennah campus.

How to obtain admission form online for Uniuyo post utme
- Visit http://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals or uniuyo.edu.ng and navigate to e-portals
- Select Admission Forms Link
- Select Post-UTME as the Admission Form Type
- Enter your phone Number and Email address
- Click on MAKE PAYMENT NOW button to make payment (Payment can be made online using ATM Card/Internet Banking or at and branch of all the Commercial Banks using pre-payment slip through Remita Platform)
- After payment return to the online portal and click on Register Link to obtain your login credentials to complete your registration
- Printout the 2019/2020 Screening Exercise Schedule Slip

- Select Admission Status Link
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Click on Check Status Button. Find out how to check your jamb result with the Jamb results checker here.
- You’ll see a response whether you’ve been admitted or not.

- To qualify for admission into a master’s degree programme, applicants should be graduates with a Second Class Honours degrees in the Lower Division with and CGPA of not less than 2.75 on a five-point scale, or CGPA of not less than 2.2 on a four-point scale

Applicants are required to pay a sum of N15,000 (Fifteen thousand naira) only
- To make payment, generate a RRR code via the uniuyo eportal. Applicants can proceed to any bank of choice to make payment.
- After payment is made, applicants are to return to the portal to complete registration

- Login and complete your registration
