The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is tasked with the responsibility for the incorporation of companies in Nigeria. This federal government-owned agency was established by the virtues of the companies and Allied Matters Act (LCN 2004) to regulate the formation and management of companies in Nigeria. To register a business with corporate affairs commission, certain parts of the registration will have to be done online using the commission website, while the rest can be done offline at any of their offices in the country. A prospective business owner must print out the business name and the registration form and submit them at any of the CAC offices.
