- You must not be over 35 years of age when you apply.
- Any of this is accepted: B.Sc, HND, NCE, or OND in any discipline. However, they must be from a recognized institutions.
- Advanced-Level General Certificate of Education (GCE). Two subjects must be obtained at one sitting. Or three subjects in two sittings.
- Either of the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) or West African School Certificate (WASC) certificate. Credits must be obtained in a minimum of three subjects (English Language inclusive) and a minimum of two passes in other subjects.
- National Diploma from any recognized institution. Also, National Certificate of Education (NCE) from any recognized institution is allowed.
- Ordinary-Lebel General Certificate of Education/National Examination Council (NECO) with passes in four subjects (at one sitting) or five subjects obtained after two sittings (including English Language).
