These professionals must have University degrees or its equivalent. Also, they must have at least 3 years of post qualification experience.
Recruitment of Volunteers is strictly according to the basis of specific requests from ACP countries.
The program is for professionals in Nigeria who are willing to work abroad, without their family.
Responsibilities of The Federal Government to The Volunteers
The FederalGovernment of Nigeria will be responsible for these:
- Provides returnpassagestoVolunteers.There is nobaggage allowance for the Volunteers.
- Paysresettlement allowance.
- Limits fringe benefits like leave grants.
- PaysVolunteers both onshoreandoffshoreallowances.
- The Federal Government is also responsible for the passage of a Volunteer from his/her post to and from Nigeria in case there is a death if a nuclear family member – like a spouse,offspring, or parents. This will strictly be subjected to the Directorate’s prior approval.
