The Federal University Otuoke, popularly known as FUOtuoke, is a federal government-owned university located in Otuoke, Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa state. The university was established by the President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan led administration in 2011 with eight other Federal Universities across the nation.
The university which occupies over 200 hectares of land situated at the Otuoke community in Bayelsa state in southern Nigeria (the home town of the former president of Nigeria Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan) has Senator Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki as its chairperson and Professor Seth Accra Jaja, the current vice-chancellor.

The management of the university always releases the admission list for the successive academic year weeks after the completion of the screening exercise.

FUOtuoke Post UTME
FUOtuoke usually holds her post utme screening exercise annually. The details of the post utme are posted on the official school website and national dailies.
Candidates that can take part in the post utme screening exercise are those who choose the Federal University Otuoke as their first choice institution during the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board examination registration.

FUOtuoke School Fees
Nigerian students of the Federal University Otuoke aren’t required to pay tuition fees because they are being paid for by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
However, students will have to pay sessional registration fees. The registration fee is usually between N96,000 to N106,000 for fresher, while for returning students, it’s between N47,500 to N57,500. This excludes the N10,000 that is customarily paid for hostel accommodation.

FUOtuoke Departmental cut off mark for JAMB and post utme 2017, 2018 and 2019
The university has five (5) faculties now. They are faculty of business administration and management services, education, engineering and technology, humanities and social science, and science. It recently released the cut-off points for each degree program in the university. The cut-off mark for each course is different.

However, as stated on the university website for the 2019 post utme, students that made Federal University Otuoke as their first choice institution and scored above ‘‘160’’ can take part in the post utme screening exercise.
FUOtuoke Admission Portal
With the FUOtuoke admission portal, prospective students that participated in the university’s screening exercise can check their admission status whenever the school authorities upload the list on the portal. The admission portal is usually uploaded with the names of newly admitted students severally as the admission list comes in batches.
Candidates can check their admission status by simply following the following instructions:
