The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (NAU), also called UNIZIK, is one of the best Federal universities in Nigeria. The institution consists of four campuses in Anambra State. Its main campus is located in the capital of Anambra State, Awka.

UNIZIK cut off mark

There are different cut-off marks for different departments of UNIZIK. For JAMB, cut-off marks also varies. It ranges from 160 to 180, and 200.

The aggregate cut-off marks differ from department to department. Some are 180, others are 200 or more.

Calculating the aggregate cut-off mark of UNIZIK is simple.

Here is a rough working.

Let’s assume you scored 80 in the post UTME and 290 JAMB UTME.

Do this.Multiply your post UTME score  (80) by 4.

80×4 = 320.

Now add  the figure to your JAMB UTME score (290).

290 + 320 = 610.

Finally, dvide the sum by 2.

610/2= 305.

Your aggregate score is 305.

The Post UTME of UNN is often conducted prior to a new academic session. This is to inform candidates that the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has a JAMB UTME cut-off mark before they can participate in the screening exercise.

To be eligible for the UNN Post UTME screening exercise, you be must score at least 180 in your UTME. Next, you need at least 5 credit passes in your O-Level results, English language and Mathematics must be included.

The form for this screening exercise is N2,000 only, payable via the Remita Platform at any commercial bank.

How to Apply/Register?

Please follow the steps below:

• Click on the UNN portal – at the right corner of the website.
• Click on the Prospective Students icon. Slect Online Application Form.
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number. After this, you can generate the invoice.
• Visit the bank for the payment or pay using your ATM card.
• Next, return to the portal. Re-enter your JAMB Registration Number and login.
• Complete the date of birth form and other blank colmns.
• Fill the O-Level subjects and grades; also provide your exam centre and examination number.
• Upload your Certificates. The size of any of the certificates should not be more than 100KB. Please take note. The certificates to upload include: your Local Government Identification, Birth Certificate, Testimonial, First School Leaving Certificate, O-Level result(s), and JAMB Result Slip. When you are done uploading them, click on the NEXT button.
• Review the summary page and confirm your details. Check the confirmation box and submit.
• Finally, print out the acknowledgement slip. You will need to take it along with you for the screening exercise. It is your proof of registration.

UNIZIK post utme 2020

If you had a good score in your previous UTME, and you made UNIZIK as your first choice of institution, you are invited to apply for the school’s 2020 Post UTME screening exercise.

The UTME cut off mark for UNIZIK varies – depending on the course and department. Some courses require a minimum score of 160 while courses like Medicine, Law, and others require more than 160 cut off mark.

The cost of the post UTME form is N2,000 (non-refundable).

Here are some of the requirements for the Post UTME screening exercise:

• Candidates must have made UNIZIK their first choice of institution while registerating for the UTME. Also, a minimum score of 160 in UTME is required.
• They must have at least five credit passes in their O-Level results. It must not be more than two sittings. The O-Level subjects must include English language and Mathematics, followed by other three subjects relating to their chosen courses.
• Finally, candidates must be at least 16 years of age. Any age younger than 16 may not be considered.

– Make sure you go through the ‘I Agree’ box you proceed to submit – check the box.

– Finally, print out the Application Form and go to the Post UTME center with it. This is important.

To calculate your aggregate score is simple.

First you need have your JAMB and UNIZIK Post UTME score ready.

Let’s proceed to how to calculate your UNIZIK Post UTME aggregate.

Assuming your Post UTME scores is 70 and your JAMB scores is 240.

Multiple your Post UTME score by 4 [70 x 4] = 280.

Next, add your JAMB scores  to what you got. [280+240] =520.

Finally, divide it by 2 [520/2] =260.

Your aggregate is 260.

To check your admission status for UNIZIK, you have to login to your JAMB profile with your username and password.

For the 2020/2021 academic session, the date for the UNN’s Post UTME screening exercise is not yet fixed. This is due to the pandemic challenge the world is battling.
