In order to explain this, I will give my own personal experience.

One day, I received a message from an unfamiliar foreign number with a foreign display picture (DP). The sender had the display of a beautiful Asian woman. I have seen way too many beautiful foreigners, so naturally, it will be hard to make me fall for something like that. The sender claimed to have a job for me that required no significant effort on my part. Intrigued, I inquired further.
The Mysterious Job Offer
The mysterious contact informed me that the job involved watching a specific YouTube video and sending them a screenshot as proof. In return, they promised to pay me 600 Naira, which is roughly equivalent to 0.5 dollar. I found this offer both unbelievable and suspicious as that is a lot of money for doing seemingly nothing.
Doubts and Questions
I questioned the feasibility of someone paying such a substantial amount for merely watching a YouTube video. It seemed improbable that anyone would pay 600 naira for a single view, regardless of the location. That is like 0.5 dollars per click. This person also promise me that I will make up to 135,000 naira that will be transferred into my bank account but the end of the month
The Video in Question
The contact provided a link to the video I was supposed to watch. It turned out to be related to a Netflix Africa account. Despite my initial skepticism, I did not watch the video as I was not genuinely interested in the content. I have a YouTube channel too, I don’t think it will make sense for just anybody to watch your videos without being genuinely interested. I normally want real people that have a real interest in watching my contents. Not just any random stranger doing it for money.
Declining the Offer
Ultimately, I decided not to pursue this mysterious offer. I informed the sender that I wasn’t interested in participating and advised them to find someone else for their scheme. The fellow had even added me on telegram telling me to come over for more discussions. Looking back now, I should have played along so I can bring you guys the full gist.

The bad thing about Google is that they won’t just close your channel, they will also ban your adsense account which means if you have a blog, that blog can no longer make money. You are totally screwed.

While making money online is possible, it typically requires effort, time, and specific skills. Genuine opportunities exist, but they require more than simply watching videos. I understand that people tend to get lazy and just feel everything should be handed to them easily. Most people who make their money now and you think it is was easy for them, they had done their hard work in the past.
